Bollywood friendship might turn into foeship!!!

Deepika And Priyanka
Bollywood two famous actresses, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are contemporaries and yet they get along like a house on fire. In fact, the two are pretty close and that’s obvious from their camaraderie. However, bollywood world is very competitive and that’s one reason why most friendships don’t last in Bollywood. And though for now Ms Padukone and Piggy Chops are besties, it won’t be long before they turn rivals. Well, just recently both Deepika and Priyanka attended the IIFA awards in Tampa Bay, Florida and it seemed as if the two were competing at the do. While Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey grooved with the Chennai Express starlet, John Travolta on the other hand shook a leg with the Exotic babe. And though the Pulp fiction star stated he would love to work with the Ram-Leela starlet, he also raved about PC’s single Exotic. Looks like both the beauties are at par. But media pressure and competition always gets the better of starry relationships, no? These two ladies are equally popular back home but last year truly belonged to Deepika with four back-to-back hits under her kitty. For that very reason, every filmmaker now wants to work with the dimpled beauty. From Karan Johar to Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Imtiaz Ali to Farah Khan, Dippy is working with most big shot directors as of now. This means professionally PeeCee’s good friend is way ahead in the race.
Not to forget, the onscreen Leela also shares great rapport with most leading men in the industry. Her dostana with Shahrukh Khan is known to all and these days we hear Deepika is even taking extra care of her new movie Happy New Year co-star by making sure he eats his meals on time. Awww that’s sweet, hai na? We also know she will soon be working with Aamir Khan and even Salman Khan is eager to share screen space with the leggy lass. Remember his confession on Koffee with Karan? Even the Khans love this model-turned-actor who has come a long way in the B-town.

Bollywood bold babe has made everyone crazy round her...

Sunny Leone
Sunny Leone’s horrer film Ragini MMS 2 not only impressed the audience but it got cash registers jingling as well. Besides the former Canadian pornstar’s sexy avatar, it was the film’s music which worked wonders for it. Yo Yo Honey Singh’s special number Chaar bottle vodka became a hit in no time. However, the surprise package was Kanika Kapoor’s upbeat Punjabi item number Baby doll featuring Daniel Weber’s gorgeous wife. What’s interesting is that we’re not the only ones hooked to this foot tapping song. We hear singer cum actor Ayushmann Khurrana is completely addicted to Sunny’s Baby doll these days. So much so that while shooting for his forthcoming film Dum Laga ke Haisha, the dishy dude started singing Baby doll. In fact, he created his own tabla tune using the court-room table and sang the peppy track.
Well, not too long ago, Chetan Bhagat had posted on Twitter, “When you are super stressed, sometimes the only thing that works is watching Baby doll in a loop (interspersed with political ads) on youtube.” The bestselling writer also seems to be a Baby doll fan, no?
Good for Sunny Leone coz her acting may not have impressed many but her song has certainly made her more popular among people.

ABHISHEK BACHCHAN: IT'S MY DREAM TO PRODUCE SPORTS-BASED FILM.

Abhishek Bachchan

Actor-producer Abhishek Bachchan, who recently announced his association with the Jaipur franchise of Pro-Kabaddi, a professional kabaddi league, has expressed interest in producing a movie around sports.

"It's my dream to produce sports-based film. In India, we have not done justice to the sports genre (of films). The US is doing a great job by promoting sports through their films. I would love to produce a film based on sports," Abhishek told IANS.

The actor and his megastar father Amitabh Bachchan are big sports buffs, and they love football as well as cricket.

Asked if he has an idea in mind for a film, the junior Bachchan said: "Not really, not anything right now. But I would love to work on that."

SALMAN KHAN ON HIS WAY TO KICK!!!

SALMAN KHAN
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has arrived in Poland to shoot the climax of his upcoming movie "Kick". The film is said to have many daring scenes.
The Polish capital Warsaw has been selected for its tall buildings and many river bridges. The tallest building in Warsaw is the Palace of Culture, which was built as a gift by Soviet leader, Joseph Stalin, in the early 1950s.
For Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut, Salman will apparently jump from Gdanski bridge on the river Vistula and there will be a helicopter crash scene also.
"We have been urging Bollywood producers and directors to use Poland for their outdoor shooting for the past three years. Now they have seen the virtue of using Poland's natural beauty, which is no less than Switzerland, said Monika Kapil Mohta, Indian ambassador to Poland.
Poland is a business-friendly country and people are also appreciating Bollywood movies in a big number. Shah Rukh Khan is a well known figure and now Salman may become the next famous (Bollywood) star in Poland," added Kapil Mohta. Nine years ago, Aamir Khan, Kajol and Suniel Shetty had come to shoot the climax of Yash Raj Films' "Fanna", which was directed by Kunal Kohli. They shot it during the harsh winter in the Tatra mountains.
Currently it's spring time in Warsaw and shooting will be much easier. The city authorities are doing their best to co-operate with the film (`Kick`) unit. The bulk of the technical staff will be Polish.
After 10 days, Nadiadwala will bring his unit of 70 people to shoot the film with Randeep Hooda and Sri Lankan actress Jacqueline Fernandez.
Earlier this month, Ketan Mehta of "Mirch Masala" fame visited Poland to select locales for his next film.

Satisfied with the facilities available here, he said: "Poland is a remarkable country and its famous directors such as Andrzej Wajda and Roman Polynski have impressed us greatly. Poland also has well equipped studios and film institutes. The cost of shooting is much cheaper than other European countries."
The Indo-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IPCCI) under the leadership of J.J. Singh has also been championing the cause of Poland before Bollywood producers all these years."Finally there is some light outside the tunnel," said Singh.

BOX OFFICE COLLECTION OF BHOOTHNATH RETURNS ON OPENING DAY!!!

Bhoothnath Returns
Megastar actor Amitabh Bachchan's latest movie "Bhoothnath Returns", also starring child actor Parth Bhalerao in a key role, has managed to amass Rs.4.07 crore on its opening day.

The film released Friday.

Trade experts are expecting the numbers to increase substantially over the weekend due to the overwhelming word of mouth publicity and entertaining screenplay, said a statement.

Parth is said to have impressed the audience and critics alike with his screen presence and dialogue delivery, holding his own against the megastar.

The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and portrays a social message in an entertaining manner.

BHOOTHNATH RETURNS REVIEW!!!

Bhoothnath Returns
Hi!!! friends, i know u must be eagerly waiting for the review of Bhoothnath Returns. The initial plot is propped up by cheeky innovation: Mr. Bhoothnath begs his Superior up in Bhoot World (where choice of rebirth as Aamir Khan's dog takes only one week)—which intentionally resembles Europe (First World= Heaven)—to give him another chance to prove his scariness. Once he is sent back down to Earth to frighten more kids, another technical glitch in the ghostly government system means that he can be seen exclusively by a kid (Bhalerao) from Dharavi. This is where the relevance of the title ends. Director Nitesh Tiwari triples his ambition and makes Mr. Bhoothnath play Morgan Freeman to run for Elections, but makes sure the experience remains as educative as possible.
Given the caliber of politicians that run the nation, a ghost yearning to be a political leader seems convincing and viable—much like a gangster hallucinating and taking advice from Mahatma Gandhi. This only goes to show how the sensibilities of an audience are molded by their environment's economic state.

This is a film that could have fallen apart into cliched pieces if not for its painstakingly appropriate casting. The first half belongs to the fearless Parth Bhalerao as Akhrot—one of the finest child actors in recent times. He delivers his lines with charming nonchalance, like a 10-year version of Munna from Rangeela, due to which his side-business of vacating stubborn ghosts from deserted properties seems like a legitimate profession. Sanjay Mishra as Bhoothnath's lawyer and Boman Irani as the crooked opposition leader (sequel to his Khosla Ka Ghosla rendition) almost make this idealistic world look plausible.

The second half, where Bhoothnath turns into the conscience of the largest democracy on the planet, reminds me of Aarakshan and Baghban. I'm fond of neither, because of how aggressively self-righteous their messages are. But this is a film where this lack of subtlety fits in, much in line with the political blitzkrieg that has filled our surroundings lately. When a universal message is to be delivered, it is important to cater to the most superficial levels of readability. The writers take a strong but preachy stand, stretching the medium to communicate their opinion about the importance of voting—one that I don't necessarily agree with. I'd still pick this film over sanctimonious party campaigns, because when Amitabh Bachchan speaks (even as a dead man), you listen. Throw in a couple of superstar cameos and voting trivia, and intentions meld into relevance.

Boosted by its strategically-timed release, Tiwari sculpts an unabashed tribute to Rajkumar Hirani's genre by capturing real moods within manipulated capsules of documentation. At 160 minutes, Bhoothnath Returns feels too long, but the makers will have you believe that 'Change takes time'.

My parents still call me up whenever Baghban plays on television; they feel well-represented by its contrivances and simplicity. If this film has half that effect, it'd have served a sincere purpose. In Bhoothnath's self-regulating words though: This is not popularity. This is curiosity.

Akshay and Abhishek in Housefull 3

AKSHAY AND ABHISHEK
Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala has managed a coup. He has roped in Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan, after a gap of nearly 12 years, for the next film Housefull 3 in his super-successful franchise.
The film will be writer duo Sajid-Farhad's second directorial venture. Their debut, It's Entertainment, is scheduled for an August 2014 release.

A source says, "The Housefull franchise is a promising one in the masala entertainment space. Housefull 2 is in the `100-crore club. Sajid plans to keep it going till the time he is able to rope in exciting actor combinations. Also, as long as he is able to find entertaining scripts."

Akshay has been in both the earlier films of the franchise. But this time around, the coup lies in Akki's combination with Abhishek, with whom he was last seen in the romantic drama, Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya (2002). Incidentally, Abhishek and Karisma Kapoor, the leading lady of HMBPK, were dating back then. It will be truly interesting to see Akshay and Abhishek in a comedy of errors. Sajid remained unavailable for comment

Kareena Kapoor Khan refuses to acknowledge Southern superstar Suriya!!!

KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN AND SURIYA
Kareena Kapoor Khan might be out of work in Bollywood now, but she’s not heading down South or then even to Hollywood. In fact when Mrs. Kapoor Khan was recent quizzed about doing an item song in Suriya’s Anjaan the actor refused to even acknowledge this superstar from South. Kareena bluntly said, “I don’t even know who Suriya and Linguswamy are. I’ve never seen them.”If that was not enough to infuriate Suriya fans, she also added, “I have zero interest in acting in non-Hindi films, whether it is down south or in Hollywood. I haven’t signed any such film. I don’t know where such baseless stories come from?”
Clearly Bebo might be out of offers in Bollywood but she is not willing to explore new shores. The real reason for Kareena not exploring outside Bollywood however is this, she said, “How can I emote in a language that I don’t know?I love the work being done in South Indian languages, Marathi and Bengali. But I’ll have to learn these languages to act in them.”

LETS CELEBRATE THE BIRTHDAY OF AYESHA TAKIA...

AYESHA TAKIA
Ayesha Takia-Azmi is an Indian actress (born April 10, 1986) who mainly appears in Bollywood films. She made her film debut in Taarzan: The Wonder Car for which she won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004. Her most recent commercial successful was the 2009 film Wanted (2009).
Takia began her career as a model appearing in the famous I am a Complan Boy! I’m a Complan Girl! campaign alongside Shahid Kapoor and also in Falguni Pathak's "Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye" music video when she was fifteen. When she was 18,she appeared in the music video Shake It Daddy, which brought her to the attention of Bollywood, and a few film offers followed. She signed a contract to appear in Socha Na Tha, then for Taarzan: The Wonder Car. However, delays making Socha Na Tha meant that Taarzan was released first and was therefore her “debut” film. She won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004 for her performance in Taarzan: The Wonder Car.
Takia has appeared in a number of films that did poorly at the box office. However, she has been highly praised for her work in the 2006 Dor, a smaller budget film in which she plays the role of a young widowed Rajasthani woman living in a traditional joint family. She went on to win several awards for her performance in the film Dor, including the Zee Cine Critics Award for Best Actress.
Apart from Bollywood, Takia has also appeared in the 2005 Telugu film Super with Tollywood star Akkineni Nagarjuna, for which she was nominated for Filmfare Best Actress Award (Telugu). Her most recent hit was in Prabhu Deva's Wanted (2009 film) co-starring Salman Khan, which emerged as the one of the biggest blockbusters of 2009. The film was third highest grossing movie of the year and her role met with positive reviews.
In 2011, she starred in Mod which met with good response. As on 2012, Ayesha hosted the not much awaited musical-reality show called Sur Kshetra.

ALIA REVEALS HER DAD'S POSSESSIVENESS REGARDING HER

ALIA BHATT AND MAHESH BHATT
Highway actress Alia Bhatt says her father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is possessive about her, but adds that he has taken her on-screen kissing with Arjun Kapoor in the forthcoming film 2 States practically.
"Like every father, who don’t want their daughters to get married, even my father is the same,” Alia said in a group interview.
“Recently, my father told us (Alia and her sister Shaheen) you all can’t go anywhere, I will lock you up in a room. He is honest and blunt about the fact that he doesn't want us to get married.
“He is not saying just like that, he means it. He is very possessive and he doesn't want me to get married. If my sister’s boyfriends get me some present, he would say - even I can get presents, I will get you two," she added.
Currently, the actress is looking forward to her forthcoming film 2 States.
She has a kissing scene in the film and when asked about her “possessive” father’s reaction on the same, she said: “But he knows I am acting …but, if I kiss my boyfriend in front of him, he will slap me”.
“It’s in the scene and I am not doing it to irritate him. It’s a family film and the scene is just for three seconds.”
Directed by Abhishek Verman, 2 States is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller of the same name and the actress has read the book three times.
She said: “I have to be as natural as possible. I read the book three times before we started shooting.”
Alia says that when she read the book for the first time, she felt it could be made into a good film.
“I knew Arjun was on board… but I never thought I will be part of the film. I got a call for a look test and the point being that I should look good with Arjun. I was hoping it comes to me and it did. It’s a big achievement for me," she said.
The actress, who garnered rave reviews for her performance in her last release Highway, says there was a reason behind doing 2 States.
“After Highway I wanted people to say I am an actor and that I am not here to be a star. I would not like to be five or six films old …so I want to make sure I am an actor," she said.
