CHECK OUT MAIN TERA HERO BOX OFFICE COLLECTION

MAIN TERA HERO
Last Friday director, David Dhawan’s Main Tera Hero starring his son Varun Dhawan along with Nargis Fakhri and Ileana D’Cruz hit the theatres. The film had created a lot of buzz before its release thanks to the entertaining promos and the roll on peppy music. Ekta Kapoor’s romantic comedy had grabbed a lot of eye balls thanks to Varun’s antics when it came to spoofs on B-town biggies like Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif. The romantic comedy was liked by the audience as well as the critics.
Main Tera Hero released during the T20 World Cup yet it did manage to get the cash registers ringing. The Varun, Ileana, Nargis starrer had a slow start but it did manage to do well on Saturday and Sunday. In its opening weekend, the film collected Rs 22.73 crore. Among the recent new comers, Parineeti Chopra, Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and many others, Varun Dhawan has whooped the maximum amount of first day collection.
While talking about the business done by David Dhawan’s latest comedy, trade analyst Taran Adarsh said “ #MainTeraHero Fri 6.60 cr, Sat 8.03 cr, Sun 8.10 cr. Total: ₹ 22.73 cr nett. India biz… Despite cricket match, performed very well on Sun”
According to Boxofficeindia, ‘Main Tera Hero had an average opening with mass circuits opening better be it multiplex properties or single screen ones. The average occupancy was around 30% plus which is lower if compared with Ragini MMS 2 which had an average occupancy of around 40-45% The film will be affected by the big cricket match in the evening so a better opening would have helped especially as the film is for the youth which comes to the theatres in the morning but still the film has chances if the reports are on the plus side.”
Despite of Team India making it to the semi finals and finals of the T20 World Cup, Main Tera Hero has been a steady gainer over the weekend. According to trade experts, Varun Dhawan’s latest film movie has done a great job over the opening weekend and it is likely to recover its production cost in the first week. Now that the T20 World Cup fever is over, let’s hope the film that the film sets some new records. Let us say all the best to Sr. And Jr. Dhawans for the movie.
